and I started And/Or Studios in 2023 with my fiance, Liam, out of our tiny Toronto apartment because I felt like the merch industry needed a shake-up. 

Why did I start And/Or Studios? 

And/Or Studios is the love child of my second-hand shopping addiction, desire for sustainability, and need for individual expression.

And/Or Studios is named after a song Lyric from Into the Woods:

"Let the moment go
Don't forget it for a moment, though
Just remembering you've had an "and"
When you're back to "or"
Makes the "or" mean more
Than it did before"

Standard merch is all the same

- brand-new, mass-produced, products that feel starchy and impersonal. With 92 million tonnes of textile waste each year, I strongly believe that no new clothing needs to be added to this earth. Since we only use second-hand & vintage clothing, I hope to play a small role in minimizing that number.
